GasPulse · Gas Price Tracker
GasPulse is a simple, free gas-price tracker made by an independent developer (Misha). It shows the weekly average gas price for your state, the trend over time, and an outlook for where prices may be heading. Need help or have a suggestion? You're in the right place.
Yes — completely free, with no subscription, no ads, and no account or sign-up.
From the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA), the official government source. Prices are regular-grade weekly averages and update once a week.
GasPulse is a trend and average tracker, not a station finder. It shows the weekly average for a whole state (or region), so it's great for seeing where prices are heading — but it won't list the price at an individual pump.
Only nine states have their own state-level figures from the EIA. The other 41 share a regional average, and the app tells you which one you're seeing. Tap About GasPulse in the ••• menu for details on data coverage.
It's an on-device projection of where prices may move next, based on recent trends and seasonal patterns. It's a helpful estimate, not a guarantee — gas prices can be affected by events no model can predict.
Spin the state selector on the main screen, or tap Surprise Me to jump to a random one.
Yes — GasPulse follows your iPhone's light or dark appearance automatically.
GasPulse runs on iPhone with iOS 18 or later.
